New paddlers are always welcome at our club regardless of experience, gender or fitness.
All are welcome, especially people 40 years of age and over. We are a seniors’ focussed dragon boat club.
You can join for one month with a Dragon Pass FREE of charge so you can get a feel for the sport and a taste of what our club is like. Contact us and we will work out how and when we can help to get you started.
We have a coaching team made up of qualified coaches.
Training is held 3 times a week in the warmer months, reducing to twice weekly in the colder months when the Monday training session is dropped.
New paddlers need to be at the Community Boat Hub by 8.30am on Saturday to be fitted with a paddle and PFD. And it's helpful if you contact us in advance if you intend to drop in so we can keep an eye out for you.
