Dragon Boat Victoria in association with CNY United (CNYU) presents the Chinese New Year Dragon Boat Festival (墨爾本春節龍舟賽) at Victoria Harbour, Docklands.

Each day starts with an eye dotting ceremony to awaken the dragons and the blessing of the boats and water to ensure safe racing. The festival is a blend of tradition and heart-stopping action as the spectacular dragon boats race along Victoria Harbour to the beat of the drums. The festival will include cultural performance, lion dance, dragon boat tug of war and and food trucks.

Day One - Saturday, 8th February

200m races are open to corporate organisations, community and social groups, university teams, registered charities, cancer survivor groups and international clubs. 

Day Two - Sunday 9th February

200m races open to DBV affiliated club, AusDBF clubs and international teams.
